Club's First Fight

The boxing club are preparing for their first ever fight, when super-heavyweight Scott Graham travels to Aberdeen to take on Fraser Thirde(34) from Arbroath ABC.

It will be the first time that Scott (21) will take part in a senior amateur fight, but trainer Rory Thompson, Scott's uncle, is confident that he will win against his experienced Arbroath opponent who has fought for Scotland and travelled to fight with them in Sweden.

"We've stepped up Scott's training, he's doing a lot of cardio work and a lot of sparring. He's confident. I'm confident.



The fight is scheduled to take place at the Granite City Boxing Club, Clifton Lane, Aberdeen, on Friday, April 18, subject to confirmation.

All the club is behind Scott, especially as this is the club's first representation in amateur boxing... Good luck!
